I would like to get new wheels and tires for the summer. I need 17 inch and a profile ratio of at least 45 as I use this car as a courier car ( already 72000k ) on it. I was hoping to fit 245/45-17 on 17x8 wheels. Could anyone give me any insight on what has worked with what offset?

8" rims fit, Niach has them.. getting pretty big though.. tire size calculator says "2.1% too slow.. when your speedo reads 60mph, you will actually be travelling at 61.2mph"
Not a huge difference, but they might rub if you hit a big bump while turning

I got 18s and they wont rub as long as your offset is in range and your tire size isnt too extravagant

so Mustang wheels will fit as long as we have the hub adapter? (I think Mustang wheels do a 5x114.3 lug circle)

i got 225/40/18s on a 5x114.3 I needed 3mm spacers so mine wouldnt hit my calipers but they were cheap like 25 bucks or so. Every rim is different though. After I put them on I will see how much vibration I get and if need be Ill get the hubcentric rings
