Clear Corners!
I'm Currently working on headlight #2 (passenger side) to make the clear corners, so far so good, accidently broke a chrome tab on the driver side headlight (woops..) nothin a little super glue wouldnt fix, however..
Besides the build up on the outside of the lense, these headlights with the clear corners look groovy, I'll post pics as soon as i can find my digital camera..
Very east to do, just time consuming and you must be very careful, like they said.. these headlights dont come cheap.. (around 130 - 160 dollars per assembly) So make sure you dont break anything!
Oven is beeping at me, time to finish it up!

Update:
I didn't have any silicon laying around so i figured i do what others did and just preserve the stock silicon already on the lights and heated it up to stick the assembly back together, and it seems to be holding!
The car looks sweet, I love it. I took pictures and i went to upload them to my computer and discovered that i dont have any software for my damn Camera! I'm downloading these right now, I should have pics up in the next 10 minutes.
Its about to rain here, so i guess ill see if the silicon holds up!

I get paid tomorrow, so if it rains and i get moisture in the headlights, i'll pop em apart and re-seal them, might be easy to do since i already pulled them apart.
I'm installing the software, pictures on the way! ^_^

And the pictures of the finished lights, took me about 2 hours.
Now only if they were new lights O_o
In this picture you can see the junk on my lights that make them look "foggy".. no clue as how to get it off.. i scrubbed the crap out of it inside and out when the assembly was completely apart, to no avail.
That up close image shows that i havent washed my car in a couple days.. wish those birds would quit targeting my car when they crap in mid flight.
Edit: Spelling..

when you have the headlight apart, how do u make it so shiny?? cause i have seen some of the pics of peoples corners and they are shiny, but the pics on here dont look like they are......do u just need to clean them good before u put it back together?

The reason my headlights and corners arent as shiney as others is because of the fogging and build up of crap on the lenses, I either need to find a headlight cleaning kit (any idea on where to get this would be great).. or i need to just go get a whole new set of headlights, but i dont see that happening untill my headlights go completely out or it fogs up so bad they dont light up the road..
I used glass cleaner and a scrubby sponge and scrubbed the living crap out of the head lights, and it didnt even phase them.. The wierd part.. when the lenses were wet, they looked crystal clear, but as soon as they dry, they get that foggyness to them.. (Note that this isnt actual fog, no moisture is related to this, its build up on the lenses and i can't figure out what it is)
I can scratch at the lense with my finger nail and you can see the stuff coming off the lense, but id be scraping at them for the next two weeks if i did it that way.. I'm hoping to find a kit that can be used to clear these up because i dont feel like spending 300 dollars for new headlights
Anyhow, I love the clear corners.. Looking forward to doing other "do-it-yourself" projects on this alero! ^_^

yeah there was a part somewhere in that how-to about cleaning off all of the finger prints before you put it back together...but with your plastic being so foggy...dunno if that would have helped

yeah, that fogginess is oxidation from your lights. i dont know if it will turn yellow eventually, but in most cars it does....
