Cleaning air filter

I hope this isnt a stupid as it sounds, but i have an aem warm air intake system, with the aem filter..... is there anyway of cleaning it at all?

You could also get the K&N "filtercharger" kit at any auto parts store.

The kit runs about $12

You don't wan to do that, the AEM filter does NOT get oiled like a K&N
