New to alero mod need help with engine

hey every one i new to aleromod seems to me that u guys no a very lot about these cars i have just recently found out about all the variety of things that u can do to the engine. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestion for me on how to make my alero faster It is a 2.4 for far i have put a intake and catback exhuast. Ive been looking at the 62mm throttle body and intake manifold also i was looking at the 2.3 ho intake swap if anyone has any suggestings for me on how i can make my car faster it would be greatly appriciated im still a NOOB with working on my car but im learning

well being a noob i would say do the 2.3 HO manifold, header, 56mm throttle body, CAI, UR pulley, maybe the AEM pulley, B&M shiftplus.

with more experience then do the secret cams, p&p head, MSD, HP tuners.

just some things. which is basically what i have done.

^ Agreed. Don't do the 62mm unless you are going turbo, 56mm is tuned perfect for our engines, that's why oldsmobile has the 2.3l tb at 56mm. I've done the HO manifold swap to my car and it is a very noticable difference. I lost all of my midrange and the low end is about the same but above 3500 you can feel it pull.

I've got a set of the secret cams I've been considering selling. If you are interested pm me.

dood mid range is the 300 rpm range. normally 2500-4000
