my new sound system
Ok, I'm relatively new to this forum but it's great to see a site like this for Alero owners. Anyways just want to share some pics of my very first install that I did. I'm a very big car audio enthusiast. Here are the specs:
HU: Alpine IVA-D310 (no pics yet for this)
Navigation: Alpine Blackbird with permanent dockstation also
Sirius Satelite radio
Phone system: Alpine bluetooth
Speakers: Alpine 6.5" Type R front, 6.5 Type X rear
Subs: Phoenixgold Titanium Elite 2000W each
Amps: Phoenixgold 801 Octane R series 2 mono and one 4 channel
capacitors: two 1 farad Rockford caps
So what do you guys think?

Dang, now I'm not the only one with custom fiberglass door pods for 6.5" components. Nice work!

Thanks for all the comments...much appreciated.
The door pods took about 1 week but only working a few hours here and there so realistically it can be done in 2 days. The material is dirt cheap, it cost me about $40 of material for a couple cans of fibreglass resin and a few pieces of fleece.

Sorry, if I made anyone feel bad or jealous out there. I just thought this might inspire more people to do the same.
A lot of people thinks that Oldmobiles are for old ladies and I just want to prove them wron.
Here is a couple of sites where I got most of the gears, they probably have one of the best prices out there for highend stuff.
