question on offset

i found some 18s I want to buy with an offset of 42, will they fit with no rubbing or anything and will they throw my speedometer off?

offset has nothing to do with speedo, tire size will though and yes those will fit with the proper tire. i recommend 235/40/18. speedo will be off a bit (2mph roughly) but having a decent size sidewall is worth it.

isnt there something u have to change and have a shop install something that has to do with the speedo or somethin like that if you get bigger rims?
