What truly is "better"?
Its not just a matter of a good subwoofer, but your install, box, power, wiring, alternator, etc...

seriously get another box custom made and have it tuned lower, but if you dont want to go that way i like the kicker L7's they hit pretty low and sound good doing it also.

I got a set of RE 12's sitting here.
You want low lows?
These will do 20 Hz all day long....
SHould still be listed in the for sale... In case its not:
2 12" Resonant Engineering RE series. 175 wrms, 12 mm xmax one way. Good cheap sub: $100 for the pair. Can build a box for additional.

lol 20hz, good luck blowing those. I seriously hope you know what your doing, cause if you don't say byebye to those cvx's. Don't mean to be rude, but playing lows is all about how the box is tuned. Those Type R's would get low in a box tuned in the low 30s. Tru the L7s will get low, but will also sound like crap imo.

Its Fs is 26.4, its not going to hit 20 Hz...
The RE series FS IS 20 Hz...
