Where can I get a 5 speed tranny for my LD9?

You'll need more than the tranny hehe.
pedal, cluch master cylinder, center console, I believe a new cluster (But i bet it could work even with the speed shits in the middle of it), Cables, Shifter, Clutch, Flywheel, etc...

transmission, clutch resovoir, flywheel, flywheel bolts, clutch kit, transmission mounts front/rear/side, shift linkage, shifter assembly, clutch pedal and all of its bullshit, reflashed pcm for 5spd calibration killing all the auto tranny settings. other small things.........

Junk yard. You need to raid a 5-speed Alero for the parts. You would be getting royally raped at the dealer.

Is there anything that the dealer wont rape you for ? lol. I'm learning junk yards are the best if you want stuff like that.

You could use a 5 speed Grand Am also. Just the tranny itself you can get from 2000 and up J-body's, too. I don't know what else you can use from the J's, but the tranny is the same.

if you get a tranny from a jbody, you can use the shift cables and the shifter assembly in the cabin, just have to find a way to bolt it down. I would hope, if the shifter assembly doesn't exactly bolt into the n-body floorpan that drilling a new hole for it wouldn't be TOO far out of anybody's skillbase.
