Change Oil light

I dont have a manual for my Alero and do not know how to reset the "change Oil" light. Can one of you guys help out? Thanks.

Open the driver door, take off the fuse panel to the left of the steering wheel which would normally be covered when the door is closed, there's a red "Reset" button in there, turn the ignition to "On", push and release the "Reset" button until the "Change Oil" light is blinking, when it's blinking push and hold the "Reset" button until you hear a pinging sound, after 5 pings the light turns off.

No reset button there. 2004. I did get it reset but not sure how. I tried the on key position and 2 and 3 pedel presses. Neither worked. Just kept playing with the pressing of the gas pedel and it finally ding off.... I'll figure it out some day.
