a custom tune, only way i know of. kinda sucks that the power shuts down at 107 and you coast back down to 102 before you can go again doesn't it?

if your talking kph... sure. but mph, i'm calling bullshit.
and to the rest of the people in this thread... this isn't a rooster measuring constest... so knock it off. driving 20-30-40 over the posted speed limit is juvenile. your just endangering the lives of others. If your gonna be a fool and kill yourself do it in a senisible way that won't hurt anyone else.
The only way you can get rid of your speed limited is to modify the computer. Question answered.

Go to www.pfyc.com , buy the DHP PCM for the alero if you want to get rid of the speed limiter. I tested it once, and went to 118 with no cars around on a highway. Personally I dont see a need to go that fast, but then again, I figure enough people will tell you that.
Another cool trick is just drive 130mph+ till your engine/transmission/tires explode(s). I think thats why the limiter is on there in the first place lol.

VERY true, i didnt want to say anything cause i dont need more people getting mad at me you said it a lot nicer than i would have
I always do 5-10 over the limit, ive never had a speeding ticket and i always get to where i wanna go on time. I dont need to be "cool" and go 100mph to get to places.

190 km/h = 118 mph
I have a governor and it kicks in at around 172-173 km/h

Go screw yourself, if your a kitty and are too scared to go fast, that's your problem. No i don't do it to be cool, i only do it when i'm by myself. If your car is maintained right, its just and stable at thoses speeds than at low speeds. at 100, you can still drive with 1 hand and when you take your hand off the wheel it still goes perfectley straight. And if you are too effing scared to go fast or can't drive any effin good and endanger lives, don't do it. Its your choice, don't chew out other people for driving however fast they please. And its not just 'kids' that drive fast, lots of sane 'adults' that know how to control a car (unlike some of you obviously) go fast also.
