installed new strut mounts
well my old strut mounts were completely chewed up from not tightening the nut on the top all the way, this is what one of them looks like

and this is what the bearing looked like

Oh hell that bearing is still good, throw it back in.

lol heres another pic of the mount

if you look closely you can see that the hole in the center of it is SUPPOSED to be a circle, but got chewed up and is now an oval. anyways it ate up some of the threads on my air strut but it was too low to effect anything

It didn't eat to far into the bolt did it? That effer could snap off if it did.

nah it didnt go too deep, it was just enough to almost shave all the threads off, but the nut doesnt get tightened that far down so its alright

well i got mine off of richie, but you can get the from autozone or advanced autoparts i would imagine

Cool. Im sure I need new bearings, I have an 01 with a little over 100k on it. I have never had any of my struts off so who knows.

Well im pritty sure my strut mount is F'ed Up too. All i hear is a raddel from the back left side. Doese anyone know 100% if thats the problem car has 120,000 kms. Any help Pm me Ill lose this thread
