Coupe and Sedan similiarities

well, i'm considering buying a 1999 Alero coupe with the 2.4L thats the same color as mine for $300. Its pretty beat up cosmeticly and the engine has seen its better day. I know i can't interchange any parts with my 3400 but i have a friend with a grand am with the 2.4 so i may sell the engine to him for parts. what i want to know is if the trunk lid (i don't know the technical name) on the coupe is identical to the one on the sedan. the trunk lid on this coupe is like the only rust/dent free part of this car and the paint is close enough to mine. i want to replace mine becuz its a replacement that was originally black and painted to match my car but the paint's flaking off. also, this car has brand new tires and i'm gonna need tires soon. is there anything else that I could swap out that would be worth it?

not a bad price for a donor, the trunk should fit and I just have to say it but as a joke so dont get hurt but you could rebuild that TC and swap out that piece of shit 3400 for that TC

if i knew anything about rebuilding engines, i wouuld just fix up both cars... i really want a coupe but hey, i guess i can't have it all.
