My Alero 0-60 Video
http://video.google.ca/videoplay?doc...ch&pli ndex=2
Factory freak? Or has my hard work paid off?
0-60mph in 5.533
I've yet to certify this at a track because well... I truly don't care how many seconds it takes my car to get me a speeding ticket. But the way I did this (and you can try it at home), is to record your run, freeze/step frame at the point your car leaves 0, insert a time code at this point and see what happens. Then as long as you watch your speedometer, you can pause and clearly see how quickly your whip gets to whichever speed. I ended this one at 90mph (140km) because my memory card ran out of space... but in reality, there aren't many long roads in this town to pull off a speed test without endangering somebody.

All you got is an intake and exhaust? Factory freak maybe, take it to the track and get a 1/4, it'd be nice to see.

Intake, exhaust, street wires and I got new fuel injectors, fuel module, ignition coil pack and plugs... I really noticed a difference after that stuff was replaced. Can you tell it's an automatic? Haha this thing roasts 5-speeds no problem. My 0-60 is going to be a lot better once I get new tires, my front tires are literally sitting at the wear line, the front end jumped a few times in that video.

Thats pretty ridiculous. Heck my best 1/4 was 14.9 at 92... around there. Thats about 14.7 to 90 then, and my 0 - 60 is like 6 seconds from when i timed it last. Wow. If thats accurate, I would say factory freak, or its supercharged and no one told ya :P

I was thinking the same thing lol, my 2.2 would to 0-60 in about 9. You are probably just as fast or faster than my 8

The reason you whoop 5-speed cars is because you can only get them mated to a 4 cylinder. You have a V6.

It makes me happy to hear that, I was actually very dissatisfied with the car before I got the fuel system work done... it just motors now.
