that looks really good. what kind of silicone did you use? i bought some last week and when i tried to install them the clear silicon is too thin. i tried 2 types of clear silicone and got the same results. did you have to bend it anywhere so you could get the silicone to stick? thanks.

most people who have done this, bend the metal at a right angle, about a half inch above where the metal and bumper meet. It gives you a nice amount of metal to coat with silicone so it doesn't come loose.
Others drilled small holes and used small screws or zipties...

I used zip ties and silicone. I also painted mine black now compared to what it was at ASS 07.

I wouldn't use silicone, I just bent mine tightly around the openings until it looked tight... cut out 2-4 openings on each grille and used small C-type clamp clips to fasten it to the bumper. Worked well for me.

Zip-ties work the best. Silicon would be easier of you had the bumper off.

Grill installs seem to be a hot topic these days.
I drilled little holes in the corners and used little zipties

Or for free from a friend.
It is actually aluminum, so it doesn't rust. To be frank, I like it better then the stuff you get off e-bay, its a lot more open, allowing light from your fog lights to show through, beside, the price was right.

When I did my Alero I used Silicone and it was such a pain in the ass, I literlly had to hold the mesh on the silicone till it dried because my mesch was just not staying the way I bent it.

I agree, but it seems like a great idea to get it to hold so you can tie it or silicone it in.
