shaved tailgate

i was just wondering if anyone hase shaven the line on there trunk. Because of my excessively loud system. the trunk makes the ugly ass buzzzz sound on the outside. If any one has done this post some pics.

Between metal trunk part and plastic license plate area.


I'd be worried about the body filler and whatnot cracking if I shaved it, try sound deadening or expanding foam or something to quell that buzzing.

put a bead of clear silicone in it that helps alot and u cant see it thats what i did

You can't shave that line...you can fill it though to make it look like it's not there
