Intake Question
So, i plan on gettin a Cold Air in the Spring, when i get me some more money.. but as a temp fix/ cosmetic upgrade, what will happen when i take out my Stock Airfilter Box, and replace it with a Cone filter? Probably no difference in performance or anything right..
Now keep in mind all the stock stuff will be there except for the box being gone, and just putting a cone in.
If i take the box out and put the cone in, is that all i need to do? or is there anything else i need to do

I did that to my Intrepid, I just made a heat shield out of cardboard and aluminum foil. I don't really think it made much difference.

There should be no need to move the battery. Aside from if you need to get an angle to get the CAI piping in place. My battery is in the stock location.
