If you want a dual pipe... I agree with Silent.. the SLP sounds good! If you just want a single pipe then I like the sound from my Dynomax turbo!!

I am running a 2.25" Magnaflow universal muffler with a resonated Lawson Industries tip and it sound deep and strong on my 3400. Magnaflow also sells a muffler with dual tips on one side like the stock tip location.

sound wise maybe.
but having 2.5" pipe over the 2" will definately make more power than just a muffler.

Yea, if you go with the 80, make sure you shell out for a cat-back setup.

I got mine done at Meineke and I asked them if I should swap the 2" with 2-1/2" pipe and MEINEKE told me that it wouldn't do hardly ANYTHING for performance...just might sound a LITTLE deeper. Comming from someone who could have EASILY made more $$ off me by saying "yea, u'll notice a difference" I am trusting their word. The only thing I did besides the muffler was cut the resinators off (i did this about 3 months AFTER i got the muffler put on and it made a HUGE difference with sounds..MUCH BETTER..more gurgle and rumble)

I have the borla on mine. Its sounds normal at low rpm, but sounds great once you rev it up. Only thing is is that it's not dual.

IMO flowmaster all the way
wont sound like a rice wagon... with the v6 it'll rumble a lil bit... not like my 400.. but its all good.
Buy a flowmaster and take it to an exhaust shop, have em bend ya a kustom kat back or w/e u want.
thats the way to go as far as im concerined

IMO - MAGNAFLOW! They advertise exactly what you seem to want. Smooth low grumble at idle and low RPMs, but really opens up when you punch it. I am VERY happy with mine on a 3.4L. Single or dual outlets.

Just go with a custom bent system. I got my local shop to fab me up a new cat back system and it sounds good - nice and low with a throaty rumble.
It doesn't sound like a lawnmower on crack like a Honda does.
