I zip-tied my XM to the vent on the right side of the center stack. There were little holes in the back of the mouting thingy, just threaded it through there, then ran the wires down around the side of the center stack, and the antenna down around the footwell and under the trim, through the trunk to the back window.

Now the Sirius just magically comes in on the radio in the MINI.

I never mounted one in a alero before but more than likely the suction cups are powerful enough to stick it in the cubby hole. YOu could also hard mount it down there with some screws thats what I did in my GF's Accent.

I don't have one anymore but you could make a stand for it with the cupholder and use it that way.....ooorrrr they make a stand that you could put anywhere and its applied with 3m double sided foam tape. I like the stand because it has the swivel base and adjustable height. Don't know what it cost though and I've only seen it on one car and it was mounted next to the a pillar on the drivers side just above the vent.

I have a panavise mount that screws in an existing screw and sits next to the radio, much better than tape.

I wasn't talking about regular tape I was talking about the stuff that sticks your side molding on....and if you ever tried to get that shit off you would know what I'm talking about, but its made to be applied then taken off but won't damage your dash.....I think 3m makes it. Same crap they give you with a radar detector or different lights and stuff.

Here are some other choices Profit WM-36 window mate or a Profit LB-600 Loboy...cheap and work.
