Yep, just splicing.

The wiring diagram site I posted a while back will help immensely.

You're going to need a 1500 Ohm resistor, since our cars use a 1 wire lock/unlock system.

oaky thats not a problem, lets say i get the 1500 ohm resistor and tap into the 1 wire lock/unlock, is there any other resistors or relays involved?

nope

it's a white wire in the driver's side kick panel, run the wire that's unlock to the white wire with a 1.5k Ohm resistor to it and tap splice into it. run the wire that's lock to the wire and tap splice into it.

it may be reversed you'll have to look it up i forgot which is resisted

I just realized your from Detroit, nice! I'm close by. Come to ASS '08 or die.

Wiring Diagrams: http://64.85.6.118/diagrams/diagrams.asp
"this vehicle uses a 1-Wire Door Locking System, LOCK requires a Straight (-)Negative and UNLOCK requires a (-)Negative thru a 1500 Ohm Resistor"

Dual stage lock/unlock will be harder. Mine's plain and simple.
