yet another problem
okay, so im driving along the other day and i feel my car misfire. it went away, i figured bad gas. well yesterday, i im pulling out of the parking lot and it starts misfiring like a mofo and my ses light was blinking. meaning the CAT was being harmed. well i took it in after school and me and my teacher look at it. it looks like a bad coil, so i stole one off a shop we had. the car ran good, nothing was wrong. well today im driving home from school and it starts doing it again. it stopped for a little bit and started right back up again.
in the past 2 weeks i did the LIMG and i got a code for the sensor in the RF wheel bearing. i also replaced the tires. i now have 4 lights on in my car and my parents are threatening to take it too a shop. im taking it to school to look at tomorrow, what should i check out? the plugs and wires are fairly new (2 months maybe?).
this car is pissing me off!

Are you still running the Taylor wires like your sig says? I have heard that Taylor wires are pretty common to cause misfires. Just what I heard though.

They have a tendency to melt through. Check your wires for breaks or burns. I would replace them.

yea, im still running the taylors. this is the second set.....thats what i've too. i think im just gonna pick up some acdelco's at autozone tomorrow. the warranty is not up on the taylors, im returning them!

I would go with the ACDelco wires or MSD. The factory wires are very good but can cost more than some of the better aftermarket wires. I bought MSD wires just because they were $20 cheaper than the ACDelco wires.
If it is one of your coils, pm me, I have 3 spares I can send you.

If you plan to keep the car for a while, get magnecor 8.5 or 8mm wires. They last forever and are excellent quality. They even took care of a wire problem I had (someone ripped the wire out of the boot).

ruled out some things today... not the coils, spark plugs or wires.
today i was driving home from school (about 7 miles) and what do you know, the misfire went away...
im sure it will be back on my drive home from work tonight.
from the way it seems, with it going in and out like this there must be a bad connection or a loose wire some were.
any ideas?
i plan on looking into some better wires here soon. thanks for the offer rusty, but we got like a billion coils at school.

Do you have a good scanner at your school? I got a scanner from snap on that picks up stuff a regular scanner won't.

yeah, we got a mentor scan tool and a genis... i can read almost anything. its def above average. it fun screwing around with it...
i was talking with my teacher today and he thinks it might be the ICU. i was gonna switch it out with one we have at school tomorrow morning and see what happens.

what do ya know it was a loose wire going to the injector... got a new clip out of the junk yard and im back in business. now all i gotta do is replace my wheel bearing and ill completely set for the time being!!
