^ good luck trying to do that curved of a surface with film (unless your really experienced)
just better off using VHT nightshades, a couple coats should get you pretty dark.

I tried the film and it is a bitch to get it to work....note I was using static cling as not to mess up my tail, but if I was to try it again then the adhesive tint is the way to go..the static cling will just roll up on the ends. Everybody says to use nightshades but there is nothing you can do once done to go back if you chose or have to.

With, I believe he got it done professionally at a shop.
If you're patient and have a heat gun you can heat shrink it to fit the curve of the tail, but it's a pain, that's for sure.

ive got the tint u peel away a clear peice and u spray with soapy water and use a squigee to apply it, i dont know if thats the adhesive shit, but trust me, i know tinting is a bitch, id rather do it myself and learn then go to someone to do it for me, and yea, i dont wanna use the nite shades because if i do need to sell the car, or want to go back, i want to be able to take it off... so i just pop the cover off and tint the inside of it?

unless i'm mistaken... the tails don't come apart... so unless you want to smash them and then go buy new ones... you won't be tinting the inside... and window tint is going to be a MASSIVE pain to work around such a compound curve as a tail light... i can almost gaurantee you will ruin 200$ worth of tint by the time you teach yourself how to heat shrink to that extreme... i'd suggest either doing VHT... or mabye you could wrap them in 3M 225 Clear enamel receptive vinyl (ask your local graphics shops) and vht them then... that way it'd be removable... and the fact that the vinyl stretches makes the tail MUCH easier to cover... or there was a guy that stretched black pantyhose over his tails... (as gay as that sounds) search for it...
