OK, long story short, I ran over a plastic bag. Shit got caught underneath and melted onto my exhaust pipe. Shit reeks, what do I do? Do I just take a hose to it? Since, I don't have a hose and have to go to a car wash, how long should I wait until the car cools to go at it? Or is there a better solution? Littering isn't cool.

just let it run and burn the rest of it off (it's faster). I had that shit happen to me with my ride-on lawn mower at work. the plastic does stink, but eventually it will burn off and just be gone. then you can use steel wool or a steel brush to work off the stain.

Worse is when the bag gets stuck on your brake rotors...
Its not a big deal on the exhaust though
