Hey Everybody
Hey everyone hows it going?
Well I just bought an Alero about a month ago becuase everything else was too expensive on insurance, but from the looks of the community surronding these cars it looks like a made the right choice. This car has really grown on me thats for sure.
Alright so I picked up a 2003 Alero with the 2.2l ecotec, 5 speed. I tinted the windows 15% all around and I installed the "N-Take" cold air intake. Working on changing the interior dash lighting to blue leds and a 2pod pillar guage pod. And a boatload of other stuff as soon as the money rolls in haha.
Well anyways im from Barrie Ontario if there are any other drivers around here let me know and we can go cruise.
Can't wait to get more involved here!

Haha yeah tell me about it eh. They should be gone by the end of the summer if all goes well. Been putting all my cash into my sound system and the interior right now. Any suggestion on what colour finish rims would look best on this car?

Welcome! I am from Lindsay, about 1 1/2 hrs from you... This site will teach you a lot about the car, and abuse the search button before the senior members here grill you for asking questions that have been asked a million times before.
Where did you buy your car from, how many km, and how much did they soak you for?

Welcome fellow 5 speed owner! You have the ecotech, so its a nice base to start on.
I love the sunroof, I'd like that so much.
Do you have disk brakes at the rear or drums?

tw0123 I picked it up locally actually. As of now it has 103,000 kms on it. It has zero damage, zero rust, mint condition. I payed $6,000 taxes in.
As of now Vinalero it has drums on the back. I just replaced the front with premium rotors and ceramic pads. Looking into a conversion on the back drums to discs but not anytime soon.
Oh yeah and the sunroof is great to have I agree. I wish it had leather tough
