what happens when u mix these
what happens when u top off u coolant that had g-5 in it with a liter of dexcool how much harm will be done?

my neighbor had a flush done and they didnt fully top it off for her and her low coolant light came on i checked res it was dry so i toped it off. now first off it says dexcool right on res second i knew cuz my car it takes dex. so we looked at her reciept they put g-5 in her damn car for sure. now im wondering am i going to ruin her car. it had to be atleat half a liter i toped with 50/50 dexcool. what the hell how could they do that. what should i do?

You could put regular green stuff in your car if you did a rad flush. You just cant mix both.

you get that fluid out of the radiator ASAP and make sure to rinse it all out.. then fill it full of ONE BRAND of coolant.

if the fluid is low and you need to "top it off" you do so with WATERRRRRRRRRRRR not another brand of coolant!

mother f*cker u gotta be kidding me im gunna flip out on that place. who the hell puts g-5 in a alero? i heard pulling the radiator hose and hosing the system out still doesnt get it out of the block though?

Try having a place flush it otherwise if that fails its tear down the engine and clean and put back together time.
Also, I have never heard of G5 coolant. Ever. A Google search indicated that the Apple G5 computer has coolant in it, but no such thing as a type of vehicle coolant named as such.

Oh, that's because it's called "G-05" not G-5 or G5.
