headlight assembly

my passanger assembly has moisture in it after i washed my car? this has never happened before. how does it just happen? how do you fix it? can it be possible for it to dry up and never come back or am i going to always get this moisture now? im assuming being a 04 this is not warrantied anymore?

most likely the silicone that seals the two main pieces together has a hole in it. if you cleared your corners then its possible you didnt use enough when you put it back together.

i didnt do that so can i just run a think bead of clear calk around or do i have to take all apart and clean and recalk?

He could put a bead of calk all the way around, it would be better to take it apart though. Hey when your in there, you might as well cear your corners

i dont mean to piss anyone off but i think that is horrible and makes them look cheap and ghetto sorry to anyone who has cleared corners basically everyone lol. so how do u get the cover off without breaking it?

heat up the silicone seal with a hair dryer or 200*F in the oven. Then just be careful. if you break it, you weren't being careful enough.

Also, there is a "drain" in the headlight assembly. before you take anything apart, make sure that's not clogged. if it's clogged, that's what's holding moisture in.
