Alero's did not come stock with all black interiors at all.
The carpet (depending on dealer and quality) will cost you anywhere from $100 to $500.
Seats....definitely the most expensive cosmetic interior mod. you *might* be able to find a pair of seats for ~$400, but it all goes up from there. Katzkins is a highly recommended brand for seat covers (they do OEM quality covers, very nice. look up Silentalero for a good example of this)
As for the rest of the interior, I would steer clear of regular spray paints. if you must do it yourself, vynil dye and plastic-bonding spray paint will be fine. (use appropriately...DON'T look up Silentalero for this lol)

To paint the interior.. go balls to the wall and fiberglass/sand smoothe, then use a spray gun to paint things gloss black.

that is who i ordered my carpet and headliner for my truck from. the carpet they sell is actually from acc, just cheaper. headliners are good quality and dont take too long to get.

I am actually in the process of changing everything that's white in my car to black. So most of my interior pieces, door panels, and dash. Then I am going to try to dye my carpet and headliner. If that doesn't work, I will just buy some new stuff.
For the plastic pieces, I use krylon fusion, and thats what I always have used. As for the vinyl, I use the fabric and vinyl paint found at autozone. Each have worked perfectly for me, as long as your parts are prepped right.
But if anyone wants some white carpet.... its for sale!

i wouldnt bother with trying to dye your carpet. its going to be a serious pain in the ass to get it to be uniform, and the texture is going to be very rough. the same will be true of your headliner, but you probably dont touch that too often, so it may not bother you.
