help for 6X9s!

i had 6x9 kickers in the back (didn't do the install). just changed em out to infinitys but they don't sit right in the bracket when the bracket is clipped into the frame. if i take the bracket out, it clips to the speaker, but will not fit into the metal car frame. i compared it to the kickers and couldn't get them to fit either! however, when i took the kickers out, they were seated in the bracket and clipped to the frame...anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

as of now i just got them as sturdy as possible and put the rear deck in over them so they don't move. sounds great, but its annoying knowing they're not 'proper.'

thnx

OOP, just saw the other post. I still am wondering, though, how the kickers fit before i took them out, because they were secured to the brackets and the brackets were secured to the car frame. then i couldn't get them back in.

anyone?
