I was wondering were you guys were grounding your amps in the trunks of ur cars. I just got mine on some side thing in the trunk but I kinda like to ground it as close to the frame as possible.
I was wondering if anyone had found a good place to ground your amps?

Mine is grounded to the flat metal frame of the spare tire mount, I just drilled through it and scraped off the paint and stuck a nut and bolt on. Works great.

Best place ive found is under the rear seats... the bolts for the seatbelts work great

And yea... they arent gunna make frame off cars agen... costs too much compared to just glueing the cars together like they do now... its sad really

isnt that just that thin sheet metal behind the Left Rear Wheel well.....

For any ground you want the thickest metal possible... sheetmetal isnt the best place to ground something like a wireing kit.....

I know the Seat belt bolts arent much better... but at least thats directly into the floorpan of the car... and the bolt go's thru and into a reinforced plate behind that....

mounted my amp on the back of one side of my fold down seats......grounded it to a bold that holds the rear seat down, you can see them when you fold the seat down...bout a 1/2 inch bolt...very nice and easy to get to with a ratchet
