cold start troubles

i have an 03 with 92k miles on it. when ever i start the car from a cold start it has a rough idle and the car shakes alot. if i put it in reverse it acts like its gonna stall, if i put it in drive it does the same thing but its not as bad, but once i give it some gas in drive it stops. im thinking it might be bad/dirty injectors, ive tried sea foam but it didnt help. any ideas?

Thats interesting, seeing as how reverse is the most powerful gear in a car. I'd start out with the basics, like replacing your fuel filter, and go from there.

try cleaning your mass air flow sensor and intake air temp sensor? did you put the seafoam directly into the throttle body or dump it into your gas tank?

well after having my car scanned for codes, which came up empty, and cleaning the entire engine bay it turns out it was the fuel pump. i would have done it myself but i didnt have the time so i had a shop do it and it set me back $730.
