It doesn't sound metallic to me, kind of rubbery almost. It sounds like its coming from the drivers side. I was thinking maybe it was a CV boot or something like that. Any ideas?

Power steering pump. Had mine replaced a month ago. If your car is still under warranty, just take it in.

could be a bad bearing plates and the spring catching on the stop on the bearing plate.

Yea... dry steer your car... if you get the same creaking and junk then its most likely berring plates

i just put my front end on jacks, and turn the wheel all the way back and forth till it stopped done and fixed.

Mine was making that same noise and it was the steering rack and pinion and the strut mounts.
