I don't like putting too much vinal on the car, don't want to rice it, but it saves me all the rubbing, scrubbing, and razor blade work to get the shoe polish off.

I don't really like it, personally i'd just buy the stuff that comes off with windex and write it on with that.

I used to have a bunch of vinyl on my car, but ended up taking off half of it and just keeping the stuff I really like. Thats the good part, its cheap, so if in a month you decide you don't like it, you just peel it off.

Yeah, I just looked closer at the pic and your right the car does look orange. Maybe it's because the sun was out and really bright I don't know. Maybe I shold have waited about 20 minutes longer to take the pic. It got really dark and 25 minutes later we had a pretty bad T-storm

I dig it, Redog. My buddy keeps his numbers on his chevelle year-long, and I thnk it adds a nice touch, not to mention the " hey jerk think twice, this car's for real " look for the street. That camera definately doesn't do your ride justice though...looks really orange in these pics.

Why don't you just get those magnet signs and pull it off when you don't need it? That's what I do for autocross... and then I don't drive around all the time with numbers on my car. Just about any sign shop can make them up, and they are cheap.

The magnetic numbers are a great idea. That way, you can put them in different locations too....

i know your reasoning for doing the vinyl was so you didnt have to use shoe polish for it.... but dont you still need shoe polish for dialing in times? or numbers on the windshield?

the dial-in marker i have wipes off with my finger, no mess.

but i'm not doggin the numbers, i think it looks decent, but the reasoning behind it to me is an excuse.

not trying to bash though, dont take it the wrong way.
