If you have the monsoon the fronts are 5.25 with tweeters in the sail panel. So you might not need a adapter plate or you wont have to make a baffle for it.

for monsoon equipped alero's does the door panel look different, or do they all look like 4x6s?

All the door panels should look the same, the mounting plate for the speaker is the only difference as far as I know.

i have the infinitys. they're nice, but you have to have a place to put the crossovers.

I would suggest you grab a set of the 5.25 adapters from another alero with a monsoon, of make some mdf baffles for either a 5.25 or 6.5 set of components. Toss the tweeters in the sail panels and your good to go.

i've had a bunch of issues with my 6.5s... check depth. cuz its certainly can become a HUGE issue. (mine with adapters, are tight against the window, and still about 1/8" away from the door...which is what tore my first pair)

if your going for 6.5s its better to have someone (or DIY) a set of fiberglass speaker pods to fit over the stock location.

i was gonna put the 6.5s in the back...
another question, my deck puts out 52 watts RMS and the polk 4x6's im looking at are rated 4-50 (150 peak)... the 52 watts is too much?

Your deck is putting out more like 18watts, not the 52 that they advertise.

Just wondering how deep are your mids? How did you mount them? Got pics?

Just wondering because I took my panel off yesterday and was very dissapointed to see what I have to work with. Does any one know (in inches) the biggest baffle we can bolt to door without hitting door panel.
