worth it?
I can get a Pioneer AVIC N-2 for free. It's still in the box but do you think it's worth it to try and put it in? I know it's DVD based navigation so that seems like it would be frustrating, but it is free. I'm currently running and Alpine CDA 9885??? I think, I can't think of the model number off the top of my head, so obviously this would be an upgrade having a motorized screen and dvd player, but should I install or just turn around and sell it and save up for something better?
here is a pic

You would be better off keeping your navigation separate from your audio.
If you got it for free and its BNIB I would E Bay that thing. BUy a good setup and be happy.

its not bad, but even i you sell it you'll be lucky to get $250 for it. The Z series is when pioneer introduced the HD setup. Actually I prefer it over the dvd, no loading time, no upgrading cd's. Just download new files and go on with your day. I'm with ryan, if its BNIB ebay the thing, that or I may be able to find a buyer for ya

it's not brand new in box, it was in my wife's cousin's car for like a month, but he got a deal on a Kenwood so he pulled this out and put the Kenwood in. He keeps his shit clean though, so he still has the box and all the manual for this Pioneer.

Free DVD-Based Navigation?
lol
I don't see what the problem is... I would take it and run.
If you don't like it after it's installed, take it out and ebay it.
There is no way you lose with this situation.
