Knock Sensor...

okay Im putting in a 2000 LD9 Motor into a 97 Grand Am SE. While both the motors are out, im looking at the knock sensor (Back by the waterpump transmission bolt) and on the 200 there is like a doctors i dunno stethescope type connector with a bolt, and a 2 wire connection, and on the 97 there is an actual sensor that plugs in.... BIG difference in size as far as thread goes.... and the 200 has 2 wire red and white, and the GA has 1 wire.. green.. anyone know a quick remedy for this?????
