I was just thinking the other day, digital gauges would be very cool. Or maybe a heads up display.

if/when he sees this....
couldn't you have put the outer dash ones, out/down more... move the two center ones outward a little... and fit 2 more small ones in the center?

thats pretty cool, i wounder what that he had to do to do that. Eick is right the way gui has em laid out they dont look uhm natural, but its a start to my basic idea gives me an idea of what it might look like. looks alot better at night then our gauge clusters now tho

NO I wasn't able to move them elsewhere because you need to keep the original circuitry of the cluster behind these gauges, and it's a effing tight fit.... For the day look I'm currently redoing it and adding the necessary things to pass the inspection of the governement.
I need to do a little window so that I can still see my original mileage.
Put flasher signals and some leds for the meth injection kit....
This was just made with a basic wood board painted black and glued to the original rear circuitry as a first fit to see if the car was runing good

ok, if you say so..... that's true that is certainly tougher than completely redoing a new engine harness (more than 100wires) from scratch with only the connectors left on the engine and the 2,4 old harness ................. lol
Actually that was the easyest and funniest part of my build in total it took me like 1 day... except that these Autometer's suckers cost a lot

I'm not 100% sure but if you look at the wiring diagrams I think that can be done, Just a PITA to wire everything up

yeah that I know already, but I thought you told me you still had to take every wires separately for the gauges and find out which one was doing what then plug everything together.
