Do I need to upgrade my alternator?

I am going to be running a hifonics BXi1608d and I will be doing the big 3 with 4AWG. Ryan what do you think

Put the amp in and give it a try. With the Big 3 you might be ok.

If you have a slight dim then maybe a n alt pulley will help, if not then proceed to an alternator.

I was thinking a kinetik but I haven't looked at pricing for anything of these yet.

u know when to upgrade the alt? when the one you have craps out. til then you are fine.

Nothing like getting stranded somewhere with a DEAD alternator and an equally DEAD battery.
