any one know how they did this to their headlights, is it painted or tint? got a customer who wants something like this but im not sure how it was done.

Stained glass window paint would do that, it would hafta be done on the inside of the lens to keep the paint from chipping from rocks. I've got a can of blue, but you can get it in green, yellow, red, orange, and some frosted colors too that I've seen.
I can get you the part number if needed.

^ I dunno man, its seems that stuff goes on too thick to give that effect. And getting it that even would be pretty friggen impossible. Or have you figured something out?

No way, it goes on pretty thin, it comes out in a finer mist than a regular can of spray paint. When I did my 3rd brake light I had to do 4 coats, and they were kinda heavy coats. I bet a couple of light coats would make it look nicely tinted in the day, but probably un-noticable (and legal) at night.

when we did that to an eclipse, we just thinned the hell out of the auto paint.
