Ok i have brake problems and need help. First off i have a screeching that is pretty loud, it happens sometimes on and off. Second tonight after driving around for an hour i got home and felt my rotors to see if they were heating up and yes it burned me. (not bad though) I got rotors and pads on the front at the dealer when i got my car. Does anyone know what it could be?

I have no idea what the noise would be, but its VERY normal for the rotors to get very hot. Rotors will burn a bad blister after driving if you touch them. The noise may just be some dirt or something traped between the rotor and pad.

How many miles and how long has it been since the brakes were replaced?

Make sure the brake fluid level in the master cylinder is not all the way up as if it is the fluid heats up..expands & applys the brakes.I have seen a lot of people overfill the master cylinder!

Your brakes may be shot and need to be replaced. How many miles do you have on them?? Also the OEM brake pads for the Alero don't last long AT ALL. My car needed new pads and rotors at 16k. Although that is all city driving, they still should have lasted longer.
