Alero Rebuild

I am taking the 3400 down, replacing the entire manifold with a ported one, new fuel injectors, new camshaft and pushrods and maybe new rockerarms. also new valve springs. on top of all that i wanted to get a new COI and a 65mm TB. and possibly i will put a 5 speed manual tranny in there too

Right now i dont have the money but i plan on replacing the manifold first in the near future.

Now i am at the point where i have almost everything unhooked from the engine except for the tranny but i cant get the LIM off, the fuel rail wont disconnect from the thermostat and that is making things worse, any one help me with that? and the rear valve cover has a stripped bolt so i was thinking about just taking the engine out now and doing everything on a stand, and taking care of the bolt. its the one that is right behind the ignition coil mount so only a wrench will fit in there(which is how it got stripped .)

anyways ill take some pictures and upload them tonight just gotta find my camera.

here are my pictures

A LA1 3400 Competition Series Manifold Set from WOT tech. it will be bored for a 65mm throttle body. nothing special, do you suggest anything better?

Not spaming just letting you know that you have two threads on the same subject...better pick one to be deleted now before the mods pick for you.
