quick idea, please no flaming
were any of the chevy aleros made with a piece for the steering wheel that had the bowtie instead of the olds symbol, or does a piece from a malibu or cavaleir match up to our steering wheels

Are you talking about the air bag cover, cuz if so, that's one of the things that should probably be left alone.
( It has a big balloon thingy inside that keeps the steering wheel from flattening your ribs like oyesters with a mallet )
I Abandoned the aftermarket steering wheel idea after thinking about how much fun it would be to have my face mate with one.

I've had an airbag go off for me before. I will vouch for its life-saving capabilities. (teamed up with a seat-belt, you are nearly invincible in a head-on collision!)
as for the idea, I know you asked to not be flamed, but WTF dude? It's an Oldsmobile, not a effing Chevy. You say you're not a redneck, but I truly think you are. There's more manufacturers out there than just Chevy and Ford. You got an Alero, something to be perfectly happy about...but it seems that you just aren't. you want a midsize Chevy with performance? Impala/Monte Carlo SS.
