I remember reading a post on here earlier on how some weatherstripping on the inside of the Alero doors can cause vertical scratches. I've got that problem right now.

I checked the old thread and nobody posted anything more than taking the door apart and readjusting the weather stripping.

My problem is, how do I take the door apart?? I only see three screws and they seem to be what's holding the locking mechanism. I don't want to start prying at panelling until I know what i'm doing.

Thanks!

Disregard. I found the info under How to replace the power window assembly in the how-to forum.

I'll check with my dealer on that. The question I have though, is that my Alero is a 2003 and the posted TSB covers 99-2002. Will that have any bearing on going to them with this problem? I wasn't able to find a TSB to cover a 2003 Alero with window scratches.
