For V6 owners that want to drain your engine block, there are 2 drain plugs for the coolant on the block. The front one is 2 inches away from the oil filter, I took off the splash shield held on by 2 wing nuts and used a 15" extension to get it off (both of these bolts have some orange residue on the threads that can be seen, 14 mm both). The second coolant drain bolt on the block is 6 inches underneath the rear exhaust manifold. Again, 14 mm bolt and this one will be a little harder to get to depending on what exhaust you have, headers or stock. Very easy with headers but probably a little harder with stock. I shoved a hose in one of the drain holes and flushed the heck out of the block.
My togs touch the thermostat housing so the bottom right bolt is almost impossible for me to take off without taking the exhaust off. This way was a whole lot easier for me and don't forget there's the white drain valve on the front of the radiator, right bottom side that needs to be drained too. 3.5 gallons filled my car back up.
