Well I just bought the new alero and it came from Ohio where they require a front plate and here in PA they dont. Does anybody know how much of a mess it makes to remove the front plate braket? I know it leaves holes, but are they that much outta control that I should just leave it on?

They come with holes from the favory. So unless they put in extra holes (for the bottom two, maybe), you'll look the same as everyone else. If you take it off and it's scratched up or something, that's a different problem, and you can always get a vanity plate.

I think it looks dumb with it on there if you don't need a front plate so I took mine off, but then I didnt like seeing the holes in the front either. Now that I think about it though I think someone in another thread said that most likely people wouldnt even notice it so I am going to take it back off today.

b-spot is an unknown quantity at this point
Don't listen to these fools with their vanity plates/front plate frames.

Thats like thinking you can make an Aztek look cool by lowering it.
