I bought the following automatic shift knob:
And it doesn't fit. The setting screws don't fit tight enough and its really easy to turn it and slide it up. Maybe I need to get different setting screws? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd take a trip to the nearest Home Depot and see if i could find a larger screw.

nice shift knob. I almost got that one myself
TO make almost any aftermarket knobs fit, you'll either need bigger screws, or do the ghetto rig method like me, and just wrap a bunch of electrical tape around the shift column to make it wider. *shut up I know this is gonna sound funny*... but if you wrap it enough all the way up the shaft to the part with the white plastic poking out, it will also not wobble around and stuff. Just add a few layers of tape at a time till it fits nice n snug.

What a piece of crap. I push it down, not that hard at all, and the push botton breaks right off. $70 bucks in the trash.

Tip: we don't have an overdrive button on our stock shifters. Try to get one that also doesn't have one.

$70.00 is WAY pricey for a chromed-plastic shift knob, but that overdrive button could be wired to switch lights on / off kinda handy......as far as breaking the top right away....I'd most CERTAINLY give them people a call and threaten to shove that broken $70.00 shifter up someone's kiester until it's replaced for free.

the button falling off you should be able to fix it unless it snapped off somewhere th screw that was holding it was probably just loose... did you say where you bought it from? i'm sure they'll replace it if it was a land store but internet i'm not sure about.
