Cosmo Cold Air
ok guys i cleared my corners and im feeling like a big boy now.
So....
I WANT A COLD AIR.
is there some where i need to purchase the extra piping or should i just get that diy mess from autozone
how do you get to the front bumper and fender area to get the stock duct out of the way. (im praying for someone to have pics on this)

yeah... you turn the wheel to the right all the way and pull the fender liner off, then you can rip apart the stock plastic shit in the fenderwell.

That's what I do with mine when I go to the track.
4 bolts under the bumper, 2 on the body behind the wheel, one up top.
3 body pins as well. remove headlight and push from inside the fenderliner

nah that autozone shits plastic and super gay. My buddy used that stuff and no offence, we all dubbed him Corrolla Racing after that, just buy a V6 CAI and a coupler, thats it. once u see it itll make sense. and just a heads up that lower stock box is a PITA

that lower box was by far the bigest PITA, I made the mistake of takeing it on after working 20+ houres and only getting 3 houres of sleep, I thought it would be easy as eating pie, but it was more like eating pie with razorblades in it.

i dont think a cosmos gunna work, and considering that a v6 CAI is only 65 i doubt anyones gunna hand u a cosmo for less than that,
if u dont have the cash dont mod

lol my uncle has his own plumbing company, i could pvc for free, what would be the downside other then you guys ragging on me
heineck, i dunno im just trying to cost justify what im doing, i realized today though im nearing the 2 grand mark on aftermarket parts so im wanting to slow down a little

rounded estimates of course then tint will be another 175 friday
car suck money, but i havent had the car but a year

There wouldnt be a down side to a pvc cai, other than how goofy it would be. If you paint it, it wouldnt look too bad, personally I wouldnt do it, I would find some metal tubing and fab something up, or go to autozone and get that flex tube stuff.

it's just a 90 degree aluminum bend out of whatever OD you're using for the other stuff, and a straight silicone coupler.
