I always thought Viper was suppose to be the best. But i'm like you man, I don't know jack about them either.

I'd imagine they aren't too bad.. just gotta know where to find wires and such (which isn't a problem for me)

but i don't know about all the other crap, like ignition, sensors, etc.

ok... that doesn't help for where the sensors go.. how they mount...etc.

All of that should be explained in the directions....the hardest part should only be the doors...because of the relays and diodes...etc.

they make some really good bypass kits now, i used one on a 2002 alero. The kit took care or passlock door locks and trunk pop. Without the kit, I would rate our car as medium difficulty for alarm/remote starts.
