Gots a question
Ok so i was reading thru pages about some pepole putting ga front ends on there aleros because there pretty much the same right? Anyway if this is the case then you should be able to put ga bodykits on as well atleast on the front, right?
i dont really have any attentions on doing this but just curious if it can be done or if it has been done already.
thanks

to put a ga body kit on you would have to do the while ga front end swap. hood, fenders, bumper, headlights. for the money if you want to do that you might as well go buy a ga. why the hell has there been so many people asking about this lately? you bought and ALERO, not a ga.

You were reading that thread about the GA hood. It doesn't fit an Alero.
GA, Alero and Malibu are all the same car, mechanily speaking however all 3 cars have different body panels and do not interchange

not only mechanically uni-body too, all 3 cars are the n-body platform, all 3 will interchange with out a problem,
like the grand am for instance;
the hood hinges are the same,hood latch the same, energy absober the same, re-bar the same, the only difference is exterior sheet metal, bumpers, headlight mount panle, headlights, the obvious
the door cladings will fit on the alero door, the mailbu sheet metal will fit on the alero and grand am
ya know just to prove a point i should do a swap on my car.......naaahhhhhhh
all ya need is the hood, hood hinges are the same, so is the hood latch, headlights, headlight mount panle, and front bumper, even the fog lights mount the same way costly?? yes??? worth doing it i dunno its up to you
want me to do it sure no problem,
lets go deeper;
the core support is the same, lower and upper frame rails are the same, lower aprons, floor pans, inner and outer rocekr panles, inner and outer wheel house, inner and outer quater panel, rear body panle the same, rear frame rails the same,
its the same car just with different sheet metal on it

Forgot fenders haha, I have been wanting to do this to set my car apart for awhile. And am in the build stage. Its not hard at all. But if everyone and their mother is going to do It i'll back out. But i'm going carbon fiber.
