what's that piece that goes over the low beam bulb inside the headlight assembly

i wasn't sure, assumed it either spread/focused the light wasn't sure tho

is there any + to removing it or should it just be left in

just asking since I'm in the middle of redoing my lights

its to spread/reduce the light coming from that bulb. as far as +'s go, it'll give you more light but at the same time blind oncoming traffice.

which is actually kinda a negative cause if your on that dark two lane backwoods highway, now the oncoming traffic is blinded and is going to drive right into the front of your car. :P

someone asked once before quite a while back, and i think most said to leave it in to not piss off the other drivers.
