K when I push it acceln I get kind of a squeel chirppy sound

is this one of the belts possibly?

plz say its a hidden turbo :P

I had the same problem with my gatorgrip belt last month. Your water pump is leaking in the vent hole onto the water pump pulley, then on to the belt. Change out the water pump.. then clean the old belt to get rid of the grease/fluids. or just change out a new belt while your at it.

It took me over 3 weeks to find out this problem. When it got worse, i.e. I had a coolant spray trail under the hood, and my coolant tank would go dry every other day.

its prob not that i got a gator belt on my truck, and it m makes that noise a lil too, i loosened the belt a lil and it went a way some what, dont tell him his pump is bad u have no idea

1.) this is not your truck. This is the alero. We can't loosen our belt since we have a self tensioner.
2.) I just went through (my above post experience last month) , and was just telling him what to look for when and if his water pump is going out.
3.) I'm in school for automotive service technition.

yea, that poop sprays everywhere. i got it all over my hood liner. cleaned it off most of the engine bay tho. it is probably that, high pitched sound. i just replaced mine last weekend.

out of curiousity rich, how many mile you got on your. i just pushed past 100k
