I wanna know what wheel size I should get my Alero came with the 15 inch steel wheels. What size should I go to and or do aleros look good with 15 inch replacement wheels so I can use the same tires and not spend alot on wheels?

I like 18" wheels on our cars. Fit the look perfect with some 225/40ZR 18 tires. Or if you'd rather some 235/40ZR 18's. They are a little harsh on the streets though. So if you would prefer to have to be a little less cautious, and perhaps would like a slightly more cushy ride, go with 17's.
15's are too small, as are 16's.
Tire and wheel packages aren't too bad costwise. Expect to spend anywhere from $1000-$2000. If cost is your biggest concern, you can also buy used wheels. I think Silentalero (Marc) might still be selling his. Lexi Roma's or something like that.
Check the Bazaar or click on the Tirerack banner and see what you like

well one of my problems is money and I live on a very bumpy rutty back raod and tend to drive 50 to 60 mph down it I was wondering about the 15 and 16's becuase I saw a Grandam with what loooked to be 15's or so and they looked good but I think I will go for 17' probably I can get what I want for less than a $1000.00

i got a package consisting of 4 17 inch wheels, 4 low profile tires, and tuner lug nuts on sale for 700 instead of 1000. Just look around and you'll find what your looking for.

I dont like flashy (RICER CRAP) i like 5 spoke wheels I would like Enkie wheels and they are only about 20 more dollars a wheel than the one that is linked to so I would proabaly do those but total with 4 wheels tires locking lug nuts is a bit more than $800.00

Big flashy not performance makes it rice. It would be like me puting a wing on a geo metro or even a Alero(which I own and love) they may look good but unless you can hit 150 MPH not going to do anything and that is a fact. Thats why I wanted to try to stick close as I can to the stock tire size becuase if you up your wheel to high and use to low profile tire your gonna do a doughnut before you make it around the corner. The bigger they are and they may look flashy and good but if you throw a 20 inch rim on a Alero your gonna spin thats why I wanna get 16 inch to 17 inch Wheels and tires so my sidewall has flex and grips instead of just sliding. :P And if you where wondering about 20 inch wheels
for a Alero check them out"Bling Bling"
And it would be nice if SweetAlero99 kept his comments about my choice/choice's in wheels to himself I may have asked for peoples opinions about what I had in mind but not your thoughts on what a ricer is. I see ricers everyday in honda's I luaph and hit the gas and make them cry.

right there dude u asked for an opinion so thats what u got.
and if it dont wanna be a "ricer" leave ur stock wheels on. cause ur not improving jack over the stock wheels.... so since its apperance ur now a ricer.
i have 18's and 235/40/18's. guess what...... ive never done a donut while driving. i mean seriously...... what kinda retarded driver do u ahve to be to spin ur car out cuase ur "rims" are to tall. get a life dude.
and id appreciate it if u didnt refer to stuff as "ricer" crap. just cuase u dont like it doesnt make it crap. lets see some pics of ur awsome car that has no rice on it what soever.

I have a intake and a muffler that together cost less than 100 dollars on top of a car that cost $18,000 and yes 18 inch wheels will have less traction believe it or not than a set of 17's becuase they have less flex in the side walls and are made of harder compounds so if you lean on a certian side to hard in a corner so they dont explode. Trust me iam a crew chief for a race car we run 14 inch slick tires on circle track(everyone runs 14's btw on Ford mustangs) and we are 18th in points first year with are drive we have know and that is 18th out of 70 drivers in total. I know technical you may know technical also but I do all the work on my own car and work 40 hours a week and have a family and food a bills to worry about before I put wheels on my car so cheap is good. Just call me Walmart smart. Feel free to have fun with that walmart smart line.
